Idea for the film poster

After having analysed a film poster, this is what I feel what our film poster could look like and also what I think could work on the poster.

The Picture

Because our film is based on a virtual life that is similar to reality, I feel that it might be a good idea to have a picture of David Jones working and doing his job to represent a idea that he is normal and not different to anyone. This will therefore make the audience intrigued in making them thinking what is wrong with the film as the irony is that he isn't real. I feel as well that the picture should ought to have white lighting and should look "Normal" to hint that David's world isn't normal or as realistic as he had hoped it would be.

The Slogan

In the poster, I feel the slogan really needs to be one which doesn't give away the film as whilst we want the audience to have an idea of what may occur, we don't want to be in a position in which we give the twist away. Because of this, I feel it might be a wise idea if we either used a line from the film (i.e. "David, your shoelace is undone") or not use a slogan at all because it is something where we don't want the audience to realise what the film is about at all. If we decide to use a slogan then I feel that it should be done in a black font or something that will come across as very clear and easy to read for the target audience.

The Title of the film and the names of the cast members

Because we have decided on some of the things for the film, I feel that the title of the film ought to be written in normal font such as Arial or Times New Roman but I feel the word "Normality" ought to have look like its glitching to give a sense that something isn't right and as a result of this, the audience can understand something is wrong but they can't figure out why things are wrong. I also feel the names of the actors surname should look like it is glitching to give a sense that something is wrong with this film making our audience want to see the film. I feel the colour for this section should be a dark colour to give a sense that the colour of this poster is fading from white to black
